HSBC Opens New Wealth Centre at The Star Vista

Tailored to provide both privacy and accessibility, the new wealth centre marks HSBC’s continued commitment to holistically serving Singapore’s rising affluent, with a community touch.

HSBC Singapore’s newest integrated Wealth Centre at The Star Vista, has opened its doors to serve the banks’ customers in western Singapore. Tailored to provide bespoke advisory services in the convenience of a retail hub, the new wealth centre will enhance access to personalised wealth management services for affluent customers while supporting local communities, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to Singapore’s long-term growth.

Bespoke Banking Experiences

The newly launched wealth centre is the second of three dedicated wealth centres planned by 2025, a central part of HSBC’s multi-year transformation journey, which includes a five-fold investment increase towards enhancing its physical network across Singapore. This investment supports HSBC’s ambition to be the leading wealth manager for Singapore’s growing affluent population, who increasingly expect bespoke service and solutions across the wealth continuum.

Located on the second floor of The Star Vista Mall – a key location in the West Region of Singapore with high visibility and footfall – the new wealth centre is designed to provide personalised service and a premium banking experience, delivered through curated spaces like the Premier lounge, enclosed teller rooms, and a selection of private rooms that facilitate quality conversations with relationship managers in confidence.

The premium experience is further enriched by experiential elements, including a heritage display wall that pays homage to the history of South Buona Vista and HSBC’s longstanding presence in the region.

Investing in Community Impact

Foreword Coffee, a homegrown social enterprise that champions inclusive employment, operates a lifestyle cafe within the wealth centre premises. The café will be run by differently-abled youths, serving both HSBC customers and members of the public.

All Premier customers will enjoy complimentary refreshments from the café, including a signature HSBC tea blend, as part of the Premier menu. All walk-in visitors to the café can purchase creations curated for The Star Vista Wealth Centre, including a custom HSBC Earl Grey Yuan Yang drink, while supporting Foreword Coffee’s efforts towards building inclusive workplaces.

Ashmita Acharya, Head of International Wealth and Premier Banking, Singapore, said, “These investments are part of HSBC’s broader ambition to be the leading wealth manager in Asia, supporting Singapore’s position as a key international wealth hub by improving the accessibility and quality of wealth advisory services for its growing affluent population. Our wealth centres are designed to facilitate meaningful wealth conversations with our customers in Singapore, and integrating community elements on our premises further underscores our confidence in the market’s continued growth potential.”

About The Star Vista Wealth Centre

Situated across 4,300 sq ft on the second floor of The Star Vista Mall – a key location in western Singapore with high visibility and footfall – HSBC’s new wealth centre is designed to meet the diverse needs of today’s increasingly socially and environmentally conscious affluent customers, integrating sustainability, community, lifestyle and heritage elements to deliver an elevated client experience.

A dedicated Heritage Wall, for example, enriches the space while paying homage to the history of South Buona Vista, featuring a visual display that tells the story of Buona Vista Gap Hill and its legacy as a racing circuit. HSBC motifs tie this history into the bank’s longstanding presence in the region.

The space also features custom artworks from The Art Faculty, a social enterprise under the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), and HSBC murals that have been handpicked for display in the wealth centre.

The wealth centre will offer accessibility features like hearing loops for differently abled customers and will be fully wheelchair accessible, including within the enclosed teller rooms. This is also HSBC’s second Wealth Centre to be Green Mark Gold Plus certified by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), supporting the bank’s sustainability commitments.
