HSBC unveils new Wealth Centre to enhance client experience and drive meaningful wealth conversations

New Wealth Centre is part of the bank’s broader strategy to scale up its wealth business.

The new Wealth Centre aims to deliver an elevated and differentiated client experience and facilitate meaningful wealth conversations.

HSBC unveiled its new Wealth Centre today, located on the ground floor of Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 2. This opening marks the first of three wealth centres that HSBC plans to establish in Singapore by Q1 2025.

The centre is part of the bank’s broader strategy to scale up its wealth business to serve the burgeoning affluent segment in Singapore, increasing its investment fivefold in its physical network as it pivots its branches into wealth centres to facilitate comprehensive wealth conversations with clients.

Integrating sustainability, technology, and lifestyle elements, it aims to deliver an elevated and differentiated client experience and facilitate meaningful wealth conversations - whether it be related to asset building, education for children, family protection as well as next generation planning.

Aligning with our transition to net zero ambition, the centre has been awarded a Green Mark Gold certification by Building and Construction Authority (BCA). With features such as wheelchair-accessible countertops, flexible use of space and automated doors, it is fully accessible to all clients, including individuals with disabilities.

“HSBC’s continued investment in physical and digital infrastructure is a testament to its commitment to ensuring every client interaction is meaningful and tailored to their unique needs,” said Ashmita Acharya, Head of Wealth and Personal Banking, HSBC Singapore. “The new centre is part of our dedication to providing the best possible environment for wealth management, reinforcing our long-term commitment to Singapore as an international wealth hub.”

Clients arriving to the Wealth Centre will be greeted by HSBC’s Universal Banking Ambassadors.

Exclusive meeting rooms provide a private and comfortable setting for engaging and meaningful wealth conversations.

The lounge area provides a relaxing atmosphere for clients and offers a versatile space that can accommodate events for up to 40 people.

A display showcasing replicas of early HSBC banknotes and a Board of Directors' minutes from the establishment of the Singapore Agency in 1877 highlights the bank's rich heritage and longstanding commitment to Singapore.
