HSBC appoints new Head of International Wealth Hub for Singapore

HSBC has appointed Jil Chin as its new Head of International Wealth Hub for Singapore. Jil joined the bank on 6 January 2025, and reports to Ashmita Acharya, Head of International Wealth and Premier Banking, HSBC Singapore.

Jil will oversee the scaling of the bank’s offshore business through new client growth, deepening client relationship and fostering stronger cross-border collaboration.

Jil brings with her 22 years of experience in wealth management and retail banking, with demonstrated competencies in leading large frontline teams and initiatives covering sales, service, talent management and acquisitions. Jil’s cross-business and cross-functional experience includes managing the Wealth and Cards sales platforms, as well as driving digital growth initiatives. She also led both onshore and offshore collaborative transformation strategies aimed at providing optimal client advisory and creating a future-ready and sustainable wealth management business. Jil was most recently Citigold & Citigold Private Client Banking Director for Wealth Management at Citibank Singapore.

As Head of International Wealth Hub for HSBC Singapore, Jil will oversee the scaling of the bank’s offshore business through new client growth, deepening client relationship and fostering stronger cross-border collaboration.
