HSBC awarded for Best Payments and Collections Solutions

HSBC Singapore received multiple awards at The Asset Triple A Treasury, Trade, SSC and Risk Management Awards 2021, both in country and at a regional level.1

Singapore - Best Payments and Collections Solution Awards

  • New Economy Solutions industry - pilot payment API implementation developed for Delivery Hero to enable on-demand payments for an innovator in global e-commerce.2
  • Information Technology industry - implementation of a cross-currency sweep solution to enable real-time FX conversion for Micron.3

Additionally, HSBC Singapore also saw recognition in the form of regional awards.


Regional – Best Payments and Collections Solutions Awards

  • Logistics industry - providing JAS Worldwide with a single central platform for all Asia Pacific cash and liquidity management activities alongside interest enhancement for restricted markets such as India and Indonesia.4
  • Logistics – supporting AP Moller-Maersk (Maersk & Sealand Maersk) with the company’s e-commerce platform by enabling its buyers to make payments via multiple collection channels.5

The wins are part of over 30 awards for HSBC’s Asia transaction banking franchise at The Asset’s 2021 Triple A Treasury Awards, including the Best Treasury and Cash Management Bank and Best Renminbi Liquidity Management Bank in Asia for the 3rd and 4th straight year, respectively.

Earlier this year, The Asset Triple A Awards named HSBC Singapore as Best RMB Bank in Singapore6 and Malcom Seet, Client Implementation Manager at HSBC Singapore, was named Implementation Manager of the Year in the Industry Achievement Awards7.
